Tracing Movement In Paint was part of the Traces Exhibition by Seeds & Dreams
A dynamic exhibition of wheelchair printing and giant mark making created by children and young people in Leicester. Their large-scale artworks were installed alongside the work of five artists (including Daryl & Co) to explore beyond the perceived limitations of disability.
Daryl and Laura created this short performance which traced their movement in paint, filling the space with tracks, lines and colour as they explored a blank canvas.
Performed and filmed in front of a live audience, the filmed formed part of the exhibition at the Attenbourgh Arts Centre, Leicester.
Tracing Movement with Paint is a non-verbal dance show, so can be understood by a wide range of people including BSL users and those who don't speak English as a first language.
